About Bubble Cup

Bubble Cup is a team contest aimed at university and high school students. The goal of the contest is popularization of programming among students and additional training for international competitions. The contest consists of two parts - two qualifying rounds in the spring and the final round in September. In the spirit of the heated competition, very valuable prizes will be awarded to the best teams.


Društvo za informacione sisteme i racunarske mreže (Association for information systems and computer networks)

Information Society of Serbia is an association for information systems and computer networks. It is a non-governmental and non-profitable organization that gathers both experts in ICT and representatives of local IT companies. This association promotes modern technologies, disseminates information, news and trends in this field. It organizes symposiums, conferences and various forms of trainings and educating activities. Members of the Society are IT experts from business, academic and scientific environment, as well as experts from the state administration.

Microsoft Development Center Serbia

Microsoft Development Center Serbia was established in September 2005 as the fourth such center in the world. It started as the team that was an extension of the Tablet PC development team in Redmond, with seven employees. In the period from 2005 to 2015, the number of employees has increased to 170 MDCS employees work in teams – Office, SQL Server and Bing.  These teams have made significant contributions to core Microsoft products. Some of these are:  Math add-in application for Office 2010, Optical Character Recognition feature for Bing Mobile, Translator App for Windows phones, as well as parts of the of SQL Server 2012. Besides working on core Microsoft products, MDCS also does extra-curriculum activities, which are aimed at providing support to young local talents. One of such supports is the Bubble Cup competition.


Univerzitet u Beogradu (University of Belgrade)

University of Belgrade is an institution regarded as one of the important contributors of the European people to the world's cultural heritage.

The origins of the University of Belgrade can be tracked down to the very beginning of the XIX century, namely the year 1808, when the College (Velika škola) was founded by the great Serbian scholar Dositej Obradović.

In 1905 the first University Law was passed, thus transforming the Higher School into the University of Belgrade. Ever since, the University has been continually developing, turning into the biggest and oldest higher education institution in the region, consisting of 31 faculties, 10 scientific research institutes, a University Library and six University Centers, with almost 80000 students and 7000 professors, researchers and teaching associates, who comprise the major part of the educational and scientific potential of Serbia.

Ministarstvo Prosvete (Ministry of Education)

The Ministry of Education upholds an important function in society. In light of the challenges arising in this changing era, education policies rely on the Ministry's experience to recognize the core values and education mission in the 21st century. Furthermore, drawing up more concrete education policies allows us to enter into the fierce international competition among developing countries.

Among the most important tasks of the Ministry of Education are to:

  • Recommend higher education policies to the Government;
  • Plan admission policy for students with respect to studies offered by the higher education institutions at the recommendation of the National Council
  • Oversee the development of higher education;
  • Ensure integration of higher education institutions into the process of recognition of qualifications of higher education in the European region

Computing Center of Electrical Engineering School

It was established in 1968 and was the first computing center in the region. Computing Center rooms are available for students 24/7.

Students use over 50 computers with fast internet connection and all programs required for work and lectures at Electrical Engineering School. 

The center developed the full IT system of the Electrical Engineering School, used by students and emplyees of the EE School.
